BLOEMFONTEIN, South Africa (AP)—Australia hooker Saia Fainga’a will miss the final Tri-Nations test of the year after he was suspended for two weeks for a dangerous tackle on South Africa lock Flip van der Merwe.
Fainga’a pleaded guilty Sunday over his tackle on his nfl jerseys
fellow replacement in the 69th minute of Australia’s 41-39 win over the Springboks in Bloemfontein on Saturday. Fainga’a was sent to the sin bin for his challenge.
SANZAR says Fainga’a is suspended from all rugby until Sept. 19, missing the clash with the All Blacks in Sydney on Saturday.
The Wallabies clinched second place in the Tri-Nations Cincinnati Bengals jersey
